Some friends give me hope,
For what tomorrow brings.
They talk about our Father,
Praises to Him they sing.

There are those that I call upon
As I journey through the day.
To help me with decisions
And ask for them to pray.

Some friends know when I am sad,
And do their very best.
To cheer me up and make me smile
They will not let me rest!

Of these friends that share their love,
And those I treasure too.
The one that's in my thoughts today
My dear friend is YOU!
