Misunderstood
Love
Sometimes things
are said and done
That we just can't
understand
Things that cause
hurt feelings
Nothing seems to go
as planned.
It's hard to feel
that we are loved
When love seems so
unkind
It's hard to find
forgiveness
When tears and hurt
combine.
Hopefully we may
all embrace
Love which is
misunderstood
It often comes
under disguise
We can't see it as
we should.
Love sometimes
calls on extra strength
To protect
children He did send
Trust Him to give
understanding
That broken hearts may mend.
