When I see a baby sweet and soft,
My heart just skips a beat.
Especially when it smiles at me
Whenever we do meet.

Our Father whispered words of love,
When this angel he did send.
I know this is a special child,
This child that he does lend.

He placed this baby in caring hands,
To love and guide each day.
Whatever the purpose or reason,
Only our Father can say.

A precious gift to be thankful for,
One given with a lot of love.
A special baby angel sent,
 With blessings from above.
