Where My Heart Belongs

There's a place that I longed for so,
And I know it is true.
Home is where I felt happiness,
And where I felt love too.

I couldn't seem to make it on my own,
Though once I thought I could.
Thought I could do most anything,
That anyone else could.

There came a feeling of incomplete,
And it caused my heart to ache.
Memories of what I left behind
Soon my heart did break.

Home is where the heart is and,
Oh yes! it's really true.
Because that is where my heart is;
Forever home with you.

So now I'm coming home to you Lord,
That's where I want to be.
So hold me forever in your arms,
And speak softly to me.

When we are wounded and weathered,
We need your love so much.
It will be so good to feel loved again,
And feel your gentle touch.

Because you've loved me as no other,
Sweet Lord I'm going to make it!
I'll never wander again from you,
And my life I now commit.
