The
Red Barn
Come on down to the old Red Barn,
There's something going on!
Country, Gospel and sort of Jazz,
Being played like I've not known!
Guys all
wearing
their wide brimmed hats;
Girls
wearing skirts that flow.
Out on the dance floor couples are
All
making quite a show!
Those on the sidelines can't be still;
Sit there tapping their toes.
Looking for a dancing partner;
Anticipation shows.
Banjos
strummed
and
guitars
pickin,
Music
plays through the rafters.
Everyone
is having a great ole time,
You can tell by the laughter.
Just grab a partner and let go,
Two steps up and to the side,
Just keep
going and
keep in
step,
Across the floor you'll glide.
The red barn is rocking tonight,
You've got to come and see!
All the stomping and clapping
hands;
It's the grandest place to
be! ©~southbreeze~
