The best days of my life have been
Those I spent with you.
Days when I held you to my heart,
I felt love I never knew.
If I had another day with you,
There's so much I'd like to say.
I can't erase the love I feel,
With you I long to stay.
I know our Father sent you,
That I might feel a special love.
A love that I must now set aside,
For our Father up above.
We talk about you every day,
Our Father and I.
He sent you for a reason and,
I must not question why.
When tears form and I feel blue
I picture your sweet face.
My love will always be with you,
A love none can replace.
Oh what wonderous memories.
In my heart forevermore and
New memories God gives us,
As he shares those in store.
